Dio opens the bedroom door to the patiently waiting Yin, “ I don’t have anything for you to sit on in here but my bed will convert to a lounge. Can you do that for me while I put this leotard away?”
“Of course.” says Yin as he motioned to the futon type bed Dio uses. Dio is a touch nervous, this is very unlike Yin to be so gracious to him.
“Thank you.”
“ No problem, you’re welcome.”
Dio returns and gets his place on the converted futon and finds Yin has already sat down. He grabs his pillow and hugs it for a bit of comfort. He’s a little nervous. Yin had a mental breakdown and had spent almost a year away from Hokanji Shrine.
This was the first time Dio has been this close to him since his return. He heard a calm heartbeat and felt a relaxed body sitting next to him. This was totally not the Yin he had known.
Yin’s voice startled Dio, “ I know I’ve not been exactly nice to you in the past and I apologize for that. It was wrong. You are no threat to Sho’s relationship to me. How could I have been so blind?”
Not knowing what else to say, Dio says, “ Blind isn’t so bad… umm.. Wait, that was silly. Uh, I understand what you mean. Wow, Yin.. I’m happy you’re OK with me.” Dio was stumbling over his words as he hears a soft giggle from Yin as he cuts off Dio’s confused babbling, …..
“That’s good. Now, with that out of the way, the real reason for my chat. Do you know when Sho’s birthday is? Of course, he doesn’t know it.”

Good to see that Yin noticed he needed to say out loud that he was okay with Dio being there. It can be quite difficult to see a sibling have a relationship, especially when they were always close. But no one is being replaced, just added on. Love's stretchy.
